What are the technical riquirements for displaying HN90 portals?
The server must have PHP installed. This will be the case on almost all web servers. It is not necessary to have the newest PHP version.
Do I have to change anything in the php configuration (safe mode etc.)?
No, HN90 portals run with standard PHP configurations.

I don't possess a VAT number. Can I use HN90 anyway?
Of course. You may run HN90 portals as a private person as well.

Why is each portal a unique website?
HN90 portals come with a large number of layout, style and categories combinations. Additionally, HN90 selects the contents and the ads to be displayed on each domain definition randomly from a large number of possible combinations. Together with your unique selection of the website title, claim, contact data and outbound links, each HN90 portal is considered a unique website.
What layouts and styles can I define?
HN90 offers more than 100 layout/style combinations and is continously increasing this number.
Can I see some layout and style examples?
It would be too complicated to show examples of all combinations that are selectable. If you'd like to see examples, we suggest that you firstly define a domain with any layout and style and put the domain files on it. Then just see what it looks like and vary the combinations having your admin interface opened in one browser window and your portal in another. All changes you make to the layout and/or style, will take effect immediately. Just reload your portal and see, if you like the new look.
I have seen outbound links on the portal that I have not defined. What does that mean?
HN90 displays paid outbound links on the portals. These links are booked and paid by link buyers. The maximum number of HN90 paid links is 4 per page.
What is my revenue from these outbound links?
You are paid
80 % of the price HN90 gets for the link per month, devided by the number of domains displaying this link.
Ex.: HN90 sells an outbound link at a price of 200 Euros per month, displayed on 20 domains of the
category "Cars, Motorcycles..."
-> You revenue is: 80 % of 200 Euros = 160 Euros, devided by 20 domains = 8 Euros per month.

May I have an own logo integrated in my UNIQUE LAYOUT?
Yes. You can email us your logo to: useradmin(at)hn90.com. Please indicate the domain name.
Is it possible to display SEVERAL HN90 portals on the SAME DOMAIN?
Yes. You may diplay several portals of different categories, layouts etc. on the
same main domain. In this case, you will have to define subdomains for each
portal in your admin interface (see next point).
How do I display HN90 portals on SUBDOMAINS (ex.: myportal.mydomain.com)?
If you intend to display one or more HN90 portals on subdomains, you
must define each subdomain as a separate domain in your admin interface.
Note: Each sibdomain will be seen as a separate domain.
Payments and VAT
What do I get paid for?
You will be paid for
a) Views of ads of the pay-per-view type (if ads of that kind appear on your portal)
b) Clicks on ads of the pay-per-click type (if ads of that kind appear on your portal)
b) Leads and/or sales, resulting from visitors recurring from your portal (if ads of that kind appear on your portal)
d) Paid links that appear on your portal (if paid links appear on your portal)
What commissions are paid out by HN90?
HN90 currently pays out 80 % of all revenues generated from your portal.
When do I get paid?
Your payments are made automatically on the 10. day of the next but one month following the month, in which your account balance has reached 100 Euros.
Ex.: If your account balance reaches 100 Euros at the 31 of january, you'll be paid for january automatically on march 10.
Are my revenues including VAT?
Yes, all amounts shown in the statistics section of your admin interface, are including 20 % of Italian VAT. -> Commercial users outside Italy but inside the EU:
If you are located outside Italy and you possess a European Community VAT Identification number, your payments will be made without Italian VAT.
Please note: you MUST enter this number in the "My data" section, if you want to be paid without Italian VAT. If you want to be paid including 20% Italian VAT, please leave this field blank. -> Private users in all countries and commercial users outside the EU:
Your payments always include 20% of Italian VAT.
Problems?
I have defined a domain and uploaded the domain files. -> An error message shows up saying that the domain is not defined.
a) Please check the domain details in your admin interface: Is the URL you defined EXACTLY the domain you are calling from your browser?
Ex.: If you want to have your portal on www.yourdomain.com, the domain must be defined in your admin interface as: yourdomain.com. Do not enter directories, slashes or any other details! Please enter just the domain name, without "http" or "www.", ex.: yourdomain.com. Your portal will show up, if the user enters both http://www.yourdomain.com or http://yourdomain.com.
b) Please check, if there is a startup page of priority like "index.htm" or "index.html". If so, please delete or rename this file to make sure that the HN90 index.php is reognized by your server as the startup page.

I have defined a domain and uploaded the domain files in a directory in which I'd like to run the HN90 portal.
-> An error message shows up saying that the domain is not defined.
Please check the domain details in your admin interface: Have you entered the directory in the URL field?. If so, please delete the directory and leave THE DOMAIN NAME ONLY (NO "http:// and no "www"), ex.: yourdomain.com. You may then run your portal in every directory you want that resides on this domain. Just put the HN90 domain files into the directory of your choice and the portal will show up.
I have defined a domain and uploaded the domain files. -> A blank white page shows up instead of my HN90 portal.
In some rare cases, the php configuration might have the value "allow_url_fopen" set to "Off". This blocks the HN90 portal's inclusion. Please change the php configuration and set the value allow_url_fopen in the server's "php.ini" file to "On". After the change has been made, php will have to be restarted, in some cases you will also have to restart the entire webserver. After the change has been made and the server has been restarted, the HN90 portal will show up correctly.
